Update From Quarantine - Maryland and Connecticut

Hello everyone! We hope everyone is doing alright coping with COVID-19. Sending warmth and wellness to all! An update: the closure of South American borders had us back in the US on March 20, two weeks earlier than we anticipated leaving Ecuador. We spent the last few weeks self-quarantining, catching up with family, experimenting with Zoom calls, and recalibrating our Say You’re Sorry 2020 plans! We will combine quarantine pods this coming Monday to reboot on our Call Your Mom dreams. In a pre-coronavirus world, we would have arrived in Simrishamn, Sweden this Tuesday, April 14, for a 3-week artist residency at Brunakra. Instead, we will hole away together at a little house and make a social distancing residency of sorts for ourselves. We’re not yet exactly sure what our 2020 Say You’re Sorry summer tour looks like—whether or not we will be permitted to host small outdoor gatherings by July, whether or not we will be able to drive between states to tour, etc. etc.—but we feel hopeful! Health and happiness are our priority at the moment, but we’re pretty confident we can still bring our audiences some kind of art experience. We will keep you in the loop as we know more and rearrange. Thank you for your patience and support. We love you all and look forward to sharing more!

Say You're Sorry is a multimedia exploration of forgiveness and redemption. From September 2019 through May 2020, Call Your Mom will be developing various aspects of Say You're Sorry at residencies across the country and abroad. In the summer of 2020, we will return to the US to tour our performance and workshop series. Check back here for project updates throughout the year.
